I have been teaching at Topeka High since 2009. I have lived in Topeka all my life; I graduated from Seaman High School, and I received my degrees from Washburn University. While at Topeka High School, I've taught several science and alternative education classes. I am also involved with the School Improvement Team, Equity Team, School Climate Team, District PreK-12 Science Curriculum and Assessment Team, District New Teacher Mentoring Program, Tower Time Extended Learning Center, and the summer school Turn-It-Around Program. Additionally, I am an instructional coach for the District Literacy Cadre and the Faculty Adviser for the Topeka High School chapter of the National Honor Society. I married my wife Jordan in the summer of 2012. We have a couple of cats who think everything in our home is designed for them to play with and/or eat. Outside of the classroom, my interests include good books, music, movies, zombies, and target shooting.
